The Telescopes of Dall-Kirkham
Rail, Zdeněk ; Ulrichová, Iva ; Kuryshev, V. ; Vápenka, David
The paper deals with the optical aberrations of the two-mirror telescopes composed of the ellipsoidal primary and the spherical secondary mirrors. The system was discovered by Horace Dall and Alan Kirkham at the end of the Twenties of the 20th Century. Its optical elements are easy to manufacture and measure. These telescopes can be equipped by lens correctors and turned into multipurpose devices both for planetary observation and wide field photography. Several telescopes were manufactured in workshop of the Toptec Center in Turnov.
Specifics of nursing care in attitude to patients with apallic syndrome and patients in terminal stage of life.
SMETANOVÁ, Denisa
The main goal of this thesis was to discover the specifics of nursing care caring for apallic syndrome patients as well as terminal patients. In connection with this objective, eight research questions were addressed, focusing on the selected specifics. The empirical portion of the bachelor thesis was achieved through a qualitative research done in the the form of semi-structured interview which was then divided into two parts. The first part targeted patients with apallic syndrome while the second part adressed terminal patients. An open coding method was used to process obtained results. The research group consisted of nurses from the intensit care unit, nurses from the hospice and ICU aftercare department, as well as the ARO department. The results of the research - analyzed and subsequently categorized - revealed interesting findings, and we came to a conclusion that it is extremely demanding, both physically and psychologically, to care for the two groups. It seems the analysis of the results is consistent with other studies, as we discovered that nurses identify the specifics of nursing care in patients with apalic syndrom, especially in the field of hygienic care, nutrition and communication. Terminal patients are also provided with peace, quiet and to die with dignity. The bachelor thesis was written to provide an overview of the specifics of patient care with apalic syndrome and terminal patients. The result of the research is an informational material that serves not only to educate nurses and family, but also the public.
Studium vlivu interakcí komet se sluneční koronou na jejich fyzikálně-chemické vlastnosti
BOJ, Evariste
The presented bachelor thesis presents possible chemical reactions that may occurs in comets during their flyby near the Sun. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the description of comets including the description of processes connected with chemical reactions ongoing in the inner coma. To calculate the distance between the comet and the Sun, we have derived the Kepler equation and then has been derived the formula for the temperature curve during the adiabatic expansion of sublimated gas out of the nucleus of the comet. In the practical part we used the comet C/1995 O1 Hale-Bopp as a model. To justify the proposed chemical reactions we have calculated the distance of C/1995 O1 Hale-Bopp from the Sun and based on this the surface temperature has been determined. In the end of the practical part of this bachelor thesis, we proposed chemical reaction for the creation of eight chemical compounds related to the living nature.
